Ditto, Karen. Yes, it “makes the heart glad” that +Lawrence is at GAFCON II, just as he was at GAFCON I five years go in Jerusalem.
Of course, I’d love to know what other American leaders are in Nairobi, including any sitting orthodox TEC bishops like +Love or +Brewer, etc. However, I don’t think any list of the official delegates to GAFCON I was ever made public, and I don’t expect the list of official delegates to GAFCON II to be made public either.
What is public knowledge is that some 120 of the 1200 or so delegates are from North America. Roughly 10%, which is actually a higher proportion than our small numbers deserve. Uganda, which has roughly ten times more Anglicans than the US, is sending only about 200 delegates, even though Nairobi isn’t that far away.

Even though I’ve been trumpeting the fact that GAFCON 2013 is the largest & most representative global Anglican gathering (ever?), it is of course not completely representative.
Yes, the North American representation is still disproportionately high at GAFCON though much better than at Lambeth or the ACC.
I’ve seen reports of:
470 delegates from Nigeria
167 – 200 from Uganda
120 from the UK
I’ve certainly not seen any public info about any sitting TEC bishops or clergy there. I imagine if any are there that info will not be made public, unless by the individual in question!
